On the 28th of September, various senior school representatives partook in the Harmony Day Walk hosted by the Moving Forward Together Association, a not-for-profit association committed in promoting social cohesion. The Harmony Day Walk seeks to bring together Australians from diverse nationalities, ethnic and religious backgrounds to help forge an inclusive society. The central message of the day was to commemorate and celebrate the enduring values of fairness, harmony and respect. It was an enjoyable day that consisted of numerous interactive activities including a fifteen-minute walk around Fairfield Adventure Park, poster designing, dance performances and speeches delivered by local MPs. Overall, the experience was elevating and we hope to see more students partake next year.
